These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access and use of our website, https://season.sc (the "Website"), and our services, including purchasing tickets to supper club events and hosting events via our platform. By using our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our Website.
1. DEFINITIONS
- "Platform" refers to the Season.sc website and its related services.
- "Chef" refers to an individual or entity hosting supper club events via the Platform.
- "Patron" refers to an individual purchasing a ticket for an event through the Platform.
- "Event" refers to a supper club hosted by a Chef and promoted via the Platform.
- "Stripe" refers to the third-party payment provider used for processing transactions.
2. USE OF THE PLATFORM
2.1 Eligibility
- Users must be at least 18 years old.
- By using the Platform, you confirm that all information provided is accurate and complete.
2.2 Account Registration
- Chefs must provide valid details, including email, contact information, and payment details for payouts.
- Patrons purchasing tickets may need to create an account for managing their bookings.
- Users are responsible for safeguarding account login credentials.
3. EVENT LISTINGS & BOOKINGS
3.1 Chef Responsibilities
- Chefs are responsible for ensuring event descriptions, pricing, and availability are accurate.
- Chefs must adhere to UK food hygiene and safety regulations.
- Any additional charges (e.g., corkage fees, extra services) must be disclosed upfront.
3.2 Patron Responsibilities
- Patrons are responsible for reviewing event details before booking.
- Any dietary requirements or allergies should be communicated directly to the Chef before attending the event.
3.3 Booking & Payment
- All payments are processed securely via Stripe.
- Payment is required at the time of booking.
- Tickets are non-transferable unless explicitly stated by the Chef.
4. CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS
4.1 Patron Cancellations
- Refunds are subject to the individual Chef's cancellation policy, displayed on each event listing.
- If an event is rescheduled, Patrons will be given the option to transfer their ticket or request a refund.
4.2 Chef Cancellations
- If a Chef cancels an event, all Patrons will receive a full refund.
- Repeated cancellations may result in removal from the Platform.
5. LIABILITY & DISCLAIMERS
5.1 Platform Liability
- We facilitate bookings but are not responsible for the quality, safety, or conduct of any event or Chef.
- We do not verify the credentials or compliance of Chefs; Patrons book events at their own risk.
5.2 Chef Liability
- Chefs assume all responsibility for compliance with health and safety standards.
- Any disputes regarding food safety, event quality, or refunds must be resolved directly between Chefs and Patrons.
6. PAYMENTS & FEES
- The Platform deducts a service fee from each booking before remitting payouts to Chefs.
- Payouts are processed through Stripe and may take up to 7 business days.
- If a payout is delayed due to verification issues, we are not liable for any resulting inconvenience.
7. PROHIBITED CONDUCT
- Users may not use the Platform for illegal activities, fraud, or misleading advertising.
- Harassment, abusive behaviour, or discrimination is strictly prohibited.
8. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
- We encourage users to resolve disputes amicably.
- If an issue cannot be resolved, Patrons and Chefs may contact us at support@season.sc for mediation.
9. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
- We may update these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or Platform notifications.
- Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
10. GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION
- These Terms are governed by UK law.
- Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
